In May, 2014, I was invited to the Convocation of my Vancouver, BC neice at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. It was a day of memorable celebration; Laura achieved incredible marks in Biology and Chemistry over her four years of study and I had an unexpected chance to chat with the Honourable Chancellor of Queen's University, Mr. David Dodge OC.
Mr. Dodge was also the former Governor of the Bank of Canada.
Mr. Dodge was extremely cordial. I briefly told him about my RCMP career and he also wanted to know about Laura's academic progress at Queen's. Prior to departing for lunch, Mr. Dodge agreed to pose for this snapshot.
It was a distinct pleasure to meet and speak with Mr. Dodge. Thank you, Sir.
