S/S/M John A. Buis acted as Master of Ceremonies. RCMP Chaplain Jim Turner conducted the service and he read passages from the Bible. A lovely 12 year old girl from a Mission School sang 'O Canada', and God Save the Queen.

A trumpeter played 'Last Post' and 'Reveille' and a piper played 'Amazing Grace'. The Mayor of Mission and the City Council were present as well as many friends and relatives of Ken Kornelson.

Jim Simpson, accompanied by his son gave Ken's eulogy. Sheldon Boles was present and photographed the service. Overall, the farewell to Ken was a very warm, rewarding and memorable service.
