Three RCMP members were shot and killed on June 4, 2014 in Moncton, New Brunswick. Two other members of the Force were also injured.

The three members who were killed were:


Reg.#49269, Constable Douglas James Larche, 40, of Saint John, New Brunswick, (L)

Reg.#54868, Constable David Ross, 32, of Victoriaville, of Quebec, (C)

Reg.#55685, Constable Fabrice Georges Gevaudan, 45, of Boulogne-Billancourt, France. (R)

A Regimental Funeral was held for the three deceased members on June 10, 2014 at the Moncton Coliseum. About 3,000 police officers and hundreds of other mourners also attended.

The two members who survived the shooting incident were:

Constable Éric Stéphane J. Dubois

and, Constable Marie Darlene Goguen.
